Brief Author Bio: Cody is a student who, throughout her school and really most of the district, as both the ultimate "freak", and the ultimate "nerd". Her personality and style lies within the Punk/Goth/Emo/Metalhead regions, all four of which she is, minus the self harm, drug/alcohol use(for Metalheads) and obsession with death(although it still fascinates her) She is known as a friendly person with people who do not hate her because she doesn't like Abercrombie or she wears too much eyeliner. She plays the tenor saxophone in the Advanced band at her school and sings in her church choir. All Time Favorite Poem: (I found this on Thelonely's profile on Quizilla) Roses are red. Violets are blue. Sugar is sweet. And so are you... But the roses are wilted. The violets are dead. The sugar bowl is empty. And my wrists are stained red. |

Excerpt: Blood Lust
“Morwenna?” Susan broke the serene silence. “I, I kind of, k- kind of have something to tell you.” Her voice trembled with anxiety as she spoke. “Yes?” Morwenna’s voice was much calmer then her partner’s. “I, I love you, Morwenna. With all of my heart and soul, and with all of my being, I love you. Now and forever, from the beginnings and to the ends of time, I will always love you.” Susan bit her lip as she waited for a response. She waited and stared at Morwenna’s stone face. Her stone, carved by angels, pale as snow, face. “Morwenna?” she asked quietly. “A- are, are you ok?” There was another silence. “I can’t.” Morwenna was still looking down at the ground. She intertwined her own fingers slowly and sighed. “I, I, I, I can’t. I can’t love you. I just can’t.” She spoke slowly and clearly, but was still choking on her own words. Her voice was soft and almost unnoticeable. “I am just, just, not strong enough. Not strong enough for this to happen again. Not again.” Morwenna’s voice cracked and her breathing got choppy and uneven. Slow and steady, but a bit stop and go. Susan nodded her head and bit her lip; she closed her eyes, trying to hold back the reservoir of tears that would inevitably become a waterfall. She waited for what seemed like an eternity to Morwenna, but what was in reality only a few moments before blinking her eyes to let a single crystal tear escape its sky blue prison. “OK,” she gulped back the wad in her throat. “I understand.” No one said anything for a bit, but then Susan realized something and said, “Wait a minute. Again?” Morwenna sighed. “I guess you deserve to know. His name was Max. Max Robert Kents.”
