I am a 15 year old prospective novelist. I love writing.
I am the daughter of Merehawk.
I love Asia and everything Asian and am learning Japanese at a college, even though I am a junior in high school.

Synopsis: Memoir of a Dream-Weaver (and a collection of other stories)

Inoue Masaru is a teenage boy at an all-boys' boarding school in Japan. He is also schizophrenic. When the school counsellor finds out that he is schizophrenic and wants to refer him to a mental institution, he knows he has to stop it. So, he develops a devious plan, using his powers of dream-maniuplation and a knife.
Will the murder catch up to him?

Excerpt: Memoir of a Dream-Weaver (and a collection of other stories)

Before I continue this memoir, I should probably introduce myself to you readers out there. My name is Inoue Masaru. Though my physical appearance isn’t important at all, I’ll describe myself. I understand that many people reading this will probably be superficial assholes. I don’t look all that different from when I was in this boarding school. I still have my shaggy black hair, my charcoal eyes, and my glasses. I still have a scar on my hand from when I accidently cut myself as a child. However, none of this is important.

What is important is my mental state. The purpose of this book is to show how I’ve unfairly received the title of “Madman.” I was just doing what I believed was right. There’s nothing mad about that. In fact, if somebody expressed what they believed in, I would automatically side with them. It takes a lot of character to stand up like that (and believe me, I would know). This has been a major belief of mine for a long time. It is why I used my gift to express that.

My gift? I’m sure 99.5% of you asked yourself what it was. The other 0.05% didn’t care whatsoever (and I must ask then, why are you reading this?). Anyway, my gift involved dreams. Anybody care to guess? I’m sure somebody got it (probably from a book summary), but I’ll spell it out. I can control the dreams of people around me. From a very young age, I have been able to do this. I have no idea why, really. It’s one of those things I didn’t question too heavily. I’m just thankful I have it, else I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did.

I suppose I’ve rambled enough. One thing that you must remember through this is that, even now, I have no regrets whatsoever. That’s why I’m able to write about it. It may sicken some of you, intrigue others… No matter what you think of it, remember that one thing. It is one of the truest statements I’ve ever spoken or written. I have no regret.
