Brief Author Bio: I'm Jesso, and I am racing myself this year to see how fast I can finish. This is also my first year as ML, so that's fun. I work an office job by day, and go to class some nights. Other nights, I run write-ins. I also like to spend time hula hooping, but I don't see that happening a lot until December. I never really know what to say in these little boxes. La la la la la. I'm me, and I like being me, and I like that I like being me. |

(Idea taken from News From Poughkeepsie)
Excerpt: Daisy
Josh finally looked up, his face showing an expression of jubilation. "It's Excalibur!"
"It- it's what?"
"Excalibur!" He exclaimed again.
"Excalibur?"
"Excalibur!"
"But... but wasn't Excalibur a sword?"
"It was!"
Daisy opened her mouth to speak again, then closed it in confusion. She really had no idea what to say. Then she decided to say, "But that thing didn't look like a sword. And I thought you said it was an armillary?"
"It is NOW. It WAS Excalibur. A long time ago."
"And how do you know this?" Daisy asked, completely lost.
"Because it's shiny!"
"Shiny."
"Shiny!"
"But lots of things are shiny, and they are not Excalibur."
