Brief Author Bio: Hello! My username is "TheJestersDaughter" but you can call me Jecca or QJ, whichever one is easier for you to remember (I'll come to pumpernickel too, by the way). I'm a teenage writer who is convinced she'll have at least one rejection letter by next summer, via her NaNoWriMo novel. This is my first year, but I'm extremely excited. I've written a bunch of short stories, a young-readers chapter book, and am co-authoring a novel that is fast approaching 100,000 words. I'm also really in to writing Star Wars fanfiction, and, as an active member of theforce.net, I've won awards and cool stuffs (o: Although my NaNo novel will be my first historical fiction endeavor, I'm struggling to make it as historically accurate as possible. I feel like I've been eat, sleeping and breathing my writing lately (literally, I'll wake up and be like, "BUNNY!" and have to scribble something down). I don't know exactly what it's going to be about yet, but I've got my basic plot and things, and a tenative title. I'd love to talk with someone more experienced, so feel free to PM me. I'm a friendly person! Don't eat earwax. please, |

Synopsis: Lady Woussickett
“Lady” Johanna Wick—named after Johanna Island, the pirate port in which she was born—has sailed the high seas for fifteen of her sixteen years. Prior to Lady’s memories, her mother passed away, and on her death bed, made Lady’s father—the notorious Captain Wick—promise to keep her safe.
But when an unexpected hurricane upsets the delicate balance of Lady’s life, she finds herself crossed and betrayed by those whom she thought she knew. Secrets are exposed, unlikely friendships are forged, and confusion kindles the light for things best left untold—all in the name of freedom, democracy, and, most importantly, sweet revenge.
