So, because everybody's DYING to know....
How does a post office in Quebec handle power outages?
What sort of rations did a British soldier carry in 1821?
How many wallabies could you fit into a Tokyo subway car?
And finally and most importantly...who exactly is it who has such an affinity for forcing numerous wallabies into tightly-compacted areas? And why?

Someone actually did the math on that wallaby question. ;) Hopefully someone saved the answer...

But how did you figure out the volume of the subway car? And where did you find the average volume of a wallaby?

It depends on which wallaby you use. Lots of species. ----------

Wow, that's a big subway car. I was thinking train-sized, but I guess they're different over there. O.o

1lb bread, 1lb beef, 1 oz of butter or cheese, 1lb pease and 1 oz ruce. Bread was black or brown. Issue beer was barely alcoholic small beer, brewed largely to make water safe.

Assuming that the post in Quebec functions like the post in Ontario, the answer seems to be: it stops delivering mail until the power comes back on.

Seeing as a power outage in Quebec is most likely to be caused by a massive winter storm, I don't blame them.

The redneck wallaby was used, and the volume of a Tokyo subway car was based on the volume of a subway car in Boston, I believe? Though I can't exactly recall. We discussed several variables, such as whether there were any modifications to the car (seats in or out?), if there were passengers in the subway car, and whether or not they were in boxes. That number was based on free-range, but most likely sedated, redneck wallabies in an empty car, though I don't know if the seats were addressed or not. The seats would probably only cause you to take away a few wallabies. If you put them in boxes, redneck wallabies would most likely fit in a crate made for medium-sized dogs, as they are around 45 pounds.
And if we're talking rush hour Tokyo, passengers included, you're not getting any damn creature in there, and if you manage to get them in, they're not getting out alive.
