Usually I have no plot ideas when it comes time for NaNo but this year I have 2 plot ideas that are currently in the baby stage. I want to write them both but both of them involve different paranormal realities.

#1 is about a re-incarnated girl who is convinced that a vampire is her soulmate and she'll do anything to be with him and that includes becoming a vampire herself and [I think] it turns out that he's the wrong guy for her.

#2 is about a girl who becomes a live in nanny for these kids and it turns out the kids have superpowers, as does their megalomaniacal uncle and their older brother (along with, aparantly, a large chunk of the population in this town) and [again, I think] she ends up falling for the older brother.

Vampires can't really exist in the universe of idea #2, superhero type people can't exist in the universe of idea #1, but I kind of saw the 2 girls as sisters before the plot diverged like that... Plus any time I get bored of what I'm writing, I could switch to the other plot for a while... And I do tend to get bored easily.

Can anyone think of a way I can manage this?

If you're not sure which plot you want to do, you can try developing both of them further. Once you know more about the characters and the plots, then you might have a more clear idea on which one you want to work on. At some point, one of them might 'click' with you. If it doesn't, then you'll (most likely) still know enough to be able to choose the one that will work the best. You never know, one of the plots might fizzle out before you take it much further. If worse comes to worse, write down two numbers onto a piece of paper and dump them into a hat. Then pick a number, and write that one.

I wouldn't suggest writing two novels during NaNo unless you're certain that you can handle it. Some people like the freedom of being able to bounce between two plots, but it can often make it harder to finish a story. Also, remember that you're not restricted to writing just during NaNo. You can always leave the plot you don't pick for another month, like January or February.
