Writing Buddies, anyone??

I suggest that you find someone that is in your own time zone. I wrote a novel Romance with a lady in Austilia and i live in the states it's very hard to do. Also you must find someone that is a lot like you. You need to put more things up there about yourself. Like if you like mushy romance, or historical romance. Give more detials that would interest someone in writing with you.

May i also say if you are looking for a great place to hang out all the time that you try. Christian writers. I'm not sure if it's leagal to post links or not here but im sure you could google them.

i'm jacks girl over there too. I love it over there it's kind of like having nano all year long. People to talk to and ask questinos about all the time but it is mostly Chritisans over there.

Good luck in finding someone to help you. I dont think you will have as much luck here at nano cause of the time limits you have and when you are writing with someone there is a lot of sending stuff back and forth and asking are you going to write this part or am I.

I really suggest you go at Nano alone then find someone to go into a writing progect with you later.

Someone you can talk to about your story, outside the Write-ins.

If so, I'd like to do so. People can have multiple writing buddies and I usually have a few(including my boyfriend who is in this too. I even gave him the idea for his nanowrimo ;))

well, i like clean romance, like "the scribbler of dreams," and "the ishbane conspiracy," i also liked "redeeming love" but it's got some parts that are too much for me. i think the max to happen in my story would be kissing... but i want it to go slow. like i want them to experience feelings for simple things like talking dancing, holding hands. i want them to enjoy innocence and then later on in the story i want them to kiss.

is this sufficient info? does anyone need more? if so, just let me know! i'll be glad to explain more.

I write contemporary and paranormal romance. For NaNo I'm using a contemporary idea I had a long while back.

I read almost anything,so heat level or same gender sex doesn't bother me. In fact I'm almost done with a lesbian romance.

This sounds wonderful! This is my first attempt at a romance novel, and I'm trying to get past 50,000 to a length more in line with published works, so I could use all the buddies I can find. I'm glad to add all of you as well, if no one minds.

Writing buddies are awesome. I have several friends that I bounce ideas off of, but that's kind of hard when they aren't there for you to keep you going.

I talked one of my friends into doing it this year and though she doesn't live where I do, I can still talk to her more regularly than I can the other friends I bounce ideas off of. :)

Hey, me too. I'm a third-time WriMo moving here for the first time from Fantasy/Historical stuff based on politics... the idea is to take it easy this year with a contemporary setting and a more lighthearted plot, but I guess we'll see how that goes!

I write romance this is my second Nano. i got a cold on the third week last year but still finished. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make our fonts bigger lol I would like bigger fonts.

I can't figure out how to make my banner show up every time automatically but I can paste it in and make it work.

First timer, so I don't fully understand what a Writer Buddy does, but I can use all the help I can get. In real life, I'm a librarian, so even though I'm a beginning novelist, I have some useful skills for writers.

I'm writing a YA-Romance myself and would love to have buddies who are writing romance as well. All my friends who've signed up are writing sci-fi and mystery so I feel a little left out of their loop right now. :(

I'm writing the follow up to my novel "Fire and Ice" a Hockey/Romance story.

I'd love more writing buddies, the more the better imho, but I have to warn you that my novel is really erotic romance, and I've picked the erotic fiction genre, although I was torn between it and romance.
