Q. What's Word War Solitaire?
A. Word War Solitaire is where you set a timer for x-minutes then type like mad to add to your novel. When time runs out, take note of your word count, then reset the timer and do it again. Try to beat your record. :)
Q. How do you do Word Wars with other people?
A. The concept is the same, only now the person with the highest word count is the winner.
Q. And what's the Round Robin Word War?
A. RR Word Wars are done in the same fashion as group word wars, except now prompts are given out. Let's say there are four people in the group.
Person 1 gives a prompt then sets the timer for x-minutes.
Everyone writes. Timer sounds.
Person 2 immediately gives a prompt and restarts the timer.
Everyone writes. Timer sounds.
Person 3 immediately gives a prompt and restarts the timer.
Everyone writes. Timer sounds.
Person 4 immediately gives a prompt and restarts the timer.
Everyone writes. Timer sounds.
Everyone gives word count, highest word count wins.
Q. Sounds like fun! When/Where can we do this?
A. Where is easy. :) Celestialwolf has provided us with a chatroom! I'm in it several hours a day, so don't be shy to jump in whenever you feel like it!
