A small greenish fleck on a leaf twitched irritably in exasperation. A closer look revealed a small figure dressed in different shades of green and brown, stamping one small foot peevishly. The watcher bit back a chuckle at the sight of such childish behavior. But some sound must have escaped despite this care, for the small creature suddenly stilled, eyes wide in the tiny head. A quick glance around, followed by a strained flutter of wings, and the creature was gone.
