Synopsis: Last Beginning

It is 1692, and all around the world, societies are in wreckless fear over soul mates. 'Soul mates' is not just another term for lovers, but for an entirely different being. They are reincarnations through time, completely connected physically and mentally. With a unique tattoo identifying each pair, they have the ability to hear each other's thoughts, feel each other's feelings, and heal each other if within close distance. Similarly, a soul mate will likely die from the "echo" if their partner is wounded or dies. An incident causes a mass execution to go forth, killing all soul mates in a particular way so that they cannot move forward in time and do it all again. Two soul mates, however, manage to mentally survive the murder, and their souls travel on...

Now in modern day, Eliza has just moved across the country for Andrew, her fiancè. Hopeless at the domestic thing, she's spending more time taking pictures of random objects than actually unpacking their belongings. But she loves Andrew, and that's all that matters... until she meets Christian, who claims to be her soul mate.

Unable to leave Andrew, but now physically and mentally bonded to Christian, Eliza must make a decision between the man she loves, and the man she is destined to share her life with, knowing that both decisions will bring dire consequences.
