Brief Author Bio: I just got back from college at Western Washington University (major: linguistics) and am now volunteering with AmeriCorps, working with underprivileged elementary school children, providing help in the classroom and out. No idea what I'll do after that's done, but I've always liked the idea of translating books. |

Synopsis: Lowlands of Holland
The story is set in the midst of the second Anglo-Dutch war and alternates between a young Scottish widow and a Jewish merchant fleeing the Portuguese/Spanish Inquisition. Eventually the story threads meet up in Amsterdam.
