Synopsis:

Man meets woman, they fall in love. There are problems. Much angst ensues.

The previous synopsis sucked. Now I just got my characters to go on an illicit secret roadtrip and am hoping creepy things will happen to them. I'm considering torture, serial killers, and cults. Not necessarily in that order.

Excerpt:

"Ah, I see. Andy the Ghost Cop."

"Well, he was rather strange looking, wasn't he?"

"I didn't notice anything."

"He was too pale, and his voice... he sounded like he was giving directions to the underworld instead of Lou's Diner or whatever."

"Lou's Place. It's called Lou's Place. And you better have your coins for Cerberus ready, because here we are."
A single bell attached to the inside of the door chimes in high, hysterical notes as they enter. A tall blond woman steps out from behind the counter.

"Good morning", Daniel says.

"Praise the Lord", the blond woman says. "I've been waiting for you."
