Brief Author Bio:

I'm a young writer, but I love to do just that almost above anything else. I first picked up writing from my sister, who is currently writing a book herself. I am female, if that wasn't evident before.
I often followed in my sister's footsteps for a lot of different hobbies, but writing is what calms me. I am currently working on two other novels, and still trying to finish my last year's NaNo novel. Last year, I did a romance called Rain of One Hundred, and it was probably one of the most fun stories I'd ever written, and am still writing.
I have over thirty different stories that I occasionally write in, but most of my focus is on my books.
I hope to have a lot of fun with The Caveat this year, and I really hope that my friends will enjoy it just as much as they enjoyed Rain of One Hundred.

Synopsis: The Caveat

Benedict Blake is a solitary individual who has just moved out of his parents’ house. When a strange wind whips through his hometown, bringing everyone down with a strange and unexplainable sickness, Ben decides it’s time to move again. As he gets ready to head for the city, however, a massive lightning storm appears on the horizon.
Journalist Fever Cummings was always a strange one in the city, but after she is awoken with a phone call at three in the morning and comes in contact with Ben, she knows there’s more to the Yraddi'e Squall than everyone else sees. She is the only one who views the new virus as a warning to escape the storm.
Ben and Fever decide to do their best at escaping the Squall, though it follows them. During their traveling, they meet a peculiar Eastie (Eastern dweller) nicknamed Hal who is one of the newest modeled robots around. Hal realizes that the storm is coming upon them faster than they can travel, so he and Ben urge Fever to face her fears, and they head straight into the Yraddi'e Squall, completely rebelling against the virus-ridden, western wind. The caveat.

Excerpt: The Caveat

The only other specific star with planets orbiting it that Yraddi’i knew of was Sol, the dubbed name for Planet Earth’s sun in a galaxy very far away from Yraddi’e’s. It had taken years and years to discover it, and it had taken many more years after than to find out that Earth had life on it. Life like Yraddi’e and Rokshüllash. Earth was quite a bit bigger than Yraddi’e, but supposedly not much different. I remember fantasizing as a child about traveling to Earth and meeting the aliens there. I wondered what they looked like and how they acted, and if they were as intimidating as the Rockshüll or if they looked friendlier. Or more like my own race.
