Synopsis: Grey Rivers
I no longer have any idea where this story is going. I'm rather confused...
Essentially, it is a journey of discovery for our protagonist, the half-elf Linnea. She is forced to flee from her beloved home and travel across the country, finding friends in unexpected places and eventually reaching the forest of the elves. There she must learn to accept both sides of her heritage, and to discern the black and white from the grey. And most importantly she must listen for God's instruction, and accept His plan for her life.
But then enters a subplot about merchants, merchants, merchants. Everyone Linnea meets in her travels is a merchant! Her human family, elf family, her traveling companions, her elfin host. Some kind of conspiracy links them all together. What is hidden in her family's past that is so important? And who are Callum and Keiran, really, and what's up with their family?
I truly have no clue.
