Synopsis: The Dead Dog's Master

When Amy steps on the bus, she thinks her life is finally about to fall into place. She's just graduated from college, got her first apartment in the city and is on the way to her first professional job interview. She didn't count on meeting Chase, or accompanying him to put down his childhood dog, Stirfry, but that was nothing. What she really didn't count on was Stirfry not staying dead.

Now Amy, followed everywhere by the stubborn, often clumsy, usually ridiculous ghost of a black labrador retriever, has to comfort Chase, uncover deep family secrets and, quite possibly, fall in love. Stirfry can't move on until he knows his master is happy, but can they solve his problems without driving Amy insane? There is one comforting thought for her: at least noncorporal dogs can't chew on your shoes.
