Synopsis: Marathon Year

Ruth - God's youngest child. He does not want her to go to earth with most of the rest of the kids (Jesus has already been here, so he's staying up there), but she convinces him to let her go. He turns her into a teenager with the angel Uriel as her guardian (uncle) to watch over her. She has to start by learning how to use her new body, but from they she has to figure out how to survive as a high school senior!

Eduardo - Uber geek and #2 in the senior class. At first he thinks Ruth is another bubble headed blonde cheerleader until she shocks him in Latin class. He corners her with a math formula that she easily solves. He asks her on a study date and she agrees!

Jessica - #1 in the class and little miss perfect, or that's what the outside world sees. She does not like Ruth as she think's she's an interloper who wants to take her top spot. Jessica will do anything to keep Ruth down, but let the world know the truth about her family.

Miffy - Odd, punk and dying. Ruth is drawn to this strang bald girl. But what happens when Ruth accidentally cures Miffy's leukemia?

Lena - Cheerleader, religious and confused. She's really boy crazy and wants to have sex, but has huge religious barriers stopping her. Heck, she doesn't even really want to physically have sex, she just likes the idea in the abstract - or would if she knew what it meant. Ruth will have to figure out the best way to guide this lost girl before she gets herself in trouble, literally!
