Brief Author Bio: I love art. That's me in a nutshell (which I really shouldn't be in in the first place since being in a nutshell would most likley cause a severe allergic reaction) |

Synopsis: Guardian Demons
Lux has a job that few have and even fewer know of: She's a demon, working for the Father pushing mortals to make mistakes and fall for temptation. Working against her is Dunstan, an angel sent to earth (The Middle World) by the Other Father from the Upper World to stop the demons and to stop the mortals from making mistakes.
When their paths cross and certain secrets come out, can they survive it all while maintaining their forbidden love?
Excerpt: Guardian Demons
“What do you want?” I say, snapping out of the trance-like state I am disgusted to have been put into by him. Hands on my hip, I stare at him, only this type looking peeved at his very presence.
“I saw what you did to that kid and I have to say, I thought someone in his position would have been harder to change but you made it look like a piece of cake.” He smirks again and strolls past me to sit on the giant slide to my left. I turn and look at him curiously.
“What? Did you think I was weak or something?” I say defensively, “I’m stronger than I look.” Marching over to him and crossing my arms as he stares up at me.
“Oh, based on your performance from before, I have no doubt about that. And might I say, bravo.” He claps mockingly, yet with a hint of actual praise in the sound his hands are making. “How exactly did you get that straight-edged outcast to drink so much and nearly rape his best friend’s sister?” He quizzically glares at me from his seat on the slide.
“Ugh,” I groan, “So it was because of your interfering that he all of a sudden decided to go home?”
“Yes, it was,” He says as he stands, pushing his chest into me as I stand my ground. “That was rather disgraceful of you, sweetie.”
“Don’t call me ‘sweetie,’” I say, shoving him with my index finger so he stubbles back a bit. “And I call you stopping it shameful. Do you even know who I am?” I scoff, leaning into him.
“Am I supposed to?” He questions, leaning into me as well. By now, we were squished together, our bodies nearly forming into one entity.
“If you know what’s good for you, you better know.” And suddenly, he smashed his lips to mine. Not in the romantic sort of way, it was more like one of those awkward, first-kisses between middle school kids who don’t know what the hell they are doing. His angelic essence flowed into me as he grabbed me by my arms and kissed me even more tenderly. I stopped resisting, even though I knew I shouldn’t.
My lips begin to ice over as his angelic essence flowed into me. But I didn’t care and apparently he didn’t since my demonic essence would be flowing into him as well, causing his lips to burn. Abruptly, he stopped and pulled his lips away from mine, leaving me wanting more.
