Brief Author Bio:

Through a tough uphill battle I found myself staring at my word count of 21720 on day 28 of Nano after enjoying a Thankful Thanksgiving of having my family at my side, but I was utterly depressed with myself for not doing it, not writing it. My passion, my blood sweat and tears went into the keyboard as I typed away with a new idea, but then it found it's way to the back burner boiling over madly as I left it unattended. I found myself not even motivated to even log the computer on after a few days. Why bother? Because....damn it I wanted to!

I sat at my computer on November 29 at 4pm and set a goal of 30 thousand words in 36 hours. Was it possible...?.

Check my stats to find out that yes it is possible...I even finished with 8 hours to spare!
I succeeded in writing and blabbering out 29672 words in 30 near straight hours of writing.
I challenged myself at word wars watching my word count grow from 21 - 23, 25, 29, 33, 35, 37, now 40 thousand words just came spilling out. in the span of a day. I am still in awe. Dumbfounded, astonished, surprised, speechless, flabbergasted and amazed. How in the hell did I pull that off? I have no idea, but I really really did.

I am now well over 50k words and it's still growing, it's nowhere near done. The month may be over but the story line is still exploding.

I can do it. Oh, yes. I will do it. O yes. I did it. (applause please!)

Synopsis: R U

If you asked me a few days ago what the synopsis was I'd give you four or five plots lines I had running in my head.... instead I followed a story line I had fun with...R U

R U ready to walk towards the light? Welcome to relentless unconsciousness.

No..... it's not about death or dying or heading off into the clouds at the end of your life. It's about a person that is able to stay inbetween that line of consciousness and unconsciousness. Walking inside the dark house you see something that makes you want to hide or run. It's not even a being....just a light. There's no arms flailing with bloody fistfights, no dangerous weapons of gunfire or explosions. Although I could probably throw some in at the end....it's just a place that you'll have to experience to and say "Yeah, I've been there."

It’s a literary fiction novel that embraces romance and drama with a flicker of suspense and mystery, leaving you intrigued for understanding this probable chick lit genre of a story that is to be believed true, could in fact be true, but has been invented in an imaginative form, bringing a dash of science fiction sprinkled on top of the overall mainstream fiction book. Could I be more vague? I think so.

The light can throw you to the floor and keep you there as you feel your skin burn and eyes blister. The relentless burning light has an off switch. When on, it scares many and some could not even survive it at all. But when off...you'd never know it existed.

Excerpt: R U

Her red eyes tried hard to pry open so she could just look. But there was something about the light she let inside her eyes which made them burn and tear. She tried to shade her eyes from the light but it didn't help, it felt like the energy from within her was flowing out of her skin and she felt drained. So exhausted, she pictureed herself standing out on the beach to cover the glare of the sun her hand held high in front of her to block the rays but it didn’t help. She wasn’t afraid yet, just concerned because she couldn’t see much. She tried to squeeze her eyes to a bare sliver so she could try to find the glimpse of the dark silhouette behind the light, but she couldn't see through it today. Not today, but maybe tomorrow.
The voices were so far away, she couldn’t feel hardly anything as they picked her up from the floor and to the outside. She felt the rush of cool wind run through her shorter blond hair but her eyes were practically swollen shut from the harshness of the light. She let them carry her, as her legs dragged across the ground her head hung lifelessly in front of her.
