Synopsis: Men With Red Envelopes
A young woman takes the standardized test for everyone her age. Through a computer glitch she receives a perfect score on a section for a specialized section of the military. She ends up at the academy and has no clue what everyone means by Uploaders, commonly referred to as "biosites". She receives a faulty one and has to prove her worth without the basics and the Uploader. She also must deal with her parents, a commander or two, and other students trying to ruin her time at Daely.

Jeff pulled off the road. “Hmm”
“What?”
“Nothing. Just a weird thought.”
"The last time you said 'hmm', we got arrested, so I think I reserve the right to know why you're going 'hmm'."
“What if you got in the military? You know they want smart people in there somewhere.” Both of them looked each other in the eye, blinked and turned their eyes elsewhere.
“I doubt it. I’m too open minded, and Father has me registered as U.E. until next year, remember? No chance they’ll touch me.” Irene rolled down her window and let her shoulders sag when the breeze came into the car. Jeff started the car again, and for once only drove as fast as the speed limit.
