Synopsis: The Beekeeper's Assassin

The Beekeeper is dying.
With his last breath, he will decide his successor. But who of his three apprentices is most suitable?

Sabian watches his master weaken and dreads the moment that will decide his future. When the Keeper chooses, his apprenticeship ends. Sabian faces returning to the streets of his unfortunate birth or winning the Keeper’s vote and taking up the mantel of Master assassin.
But the coming decision isn’t the only thing stirring up the Beekeeper’s estates. A major from the capital city has transferred to the local guard to investigate and neutralise all illicit activity in the region. In a bid to gain his master’s favour, Sabian breaks into the mayor’s home to steal the transfer papers. Rule number one; always know your enemy. But when someone catches him at the deed, his freedom isn’t the only thing at stake. His dreams of becoming the next beekeeper may be threatened in more ways than he could ever imagine.
