Synopsis: Trip

Six boys hit the road, each with their own reason. Quincy, Oliver, and Lee are in one van. Charlie, Gary, and Jacky are in another. When the two cross paths, there's no saying where the story will go!

Excerpt: Trip

"The thick metal slowly inched its way higher and higher, revealing a 1964 Ford Econoline Van. Immediately Oliver felt something throb in his chest, growing larger and larger as more of the van was revealed. His greedy eyes took in every chip in the paint, every crack in the window, every scratch that adorned the mahogany sides of this work of art. Years of use had left it looking as dirty as a downtown sidewalk, complete with small bits of graffiti in bright purple spray paint along the bottom of the car. In a state of awe he walked forward, reaching out with a hand to feel the cold, rusted metal that seemed pristine in his eyes. He felt an urge to press his face against it, to leech some of the innate energy that ran through the forty year old wires and gears, like the energy that can be found running through a child on Christmas Eve."
