About Broken_toy

Location: The land of everlasting choc-chips

Favorite novels: 'The Tapestry', 'Book of lies' (and the sequel 'Master of the Books'), The Artemis Fowl Series....and lots more

Favorite writers: Karen Kingsbury is an extreemly emotional writer and one of my personal favourites for Christian romance. However you need soooooooo much emotional energy to read her work its not funny!

Favorite music: Moody music - for example if I am writing an angry scene I will want angry provoking music to be playing. I find it adds depth to the writing.

Non-noveling interests: Drawing & Art, READING & Music (I play an slightly unusual instrument (as well as singing))

Excerpt:

Rachel sat back on her heals and stared out past the cottage. Trees dipped and twirled through each other; waving intertwined branches through the swirls of curling mist. Sun spiraled through highlighting the forest in odd patterns. She could hear birds calling to each other their mixed melodies sounding a choir of song across the morning. The rich dirt…well, the rich dirt was the reason she was out hear at all. Digging her fingers into the moist soil she dug out another weed and placed its limp body on the growing pile. The pile was so large it nearly out grew the pile of actual market produce.
