Brief Author Bio:

Hello! My name is Rilaiss (which means crown of flowers in Sindarin/Elvish).
I did do NaNoWriMo last year, but unfortunately I only got to 40,000 words. This year I'm going to try again. Egg me on and spank me if I don't get going!

ABOUT ME
I'm 17, homeschooled, female and the eldest of 7 (no joke, all from the same parents). I love fantasy. I dislike cliches (unless they're used in original ways). I strongly dislike Eragon. I love LOTR. I love Limyaael. My favorite color is green. I love horses and own one. Any questions? Just ask ;).

Excerpt: Riddock

“Justin?”
A voice whimpered. He glanced up. There was a woman, standing with her damp blond hair clinging to her face. Her face was as pale as death.
“Justin?”
He stared at her. Her hand opened, revealing a small white flower.
“This is you. This is your beginning.”
Cautiously he took a step forward. She recoiled and choked, sinking down into the grass. A inhuman wail pierced the air. He covered his ears in a desperate attempt to shield himself from the sound.
Silence.
He took a step towards the place where the woman once stood.
The flower was all that was left. It slowly began to curl, as if it where being burned, and simmered into a little pool of water.
He peered into the water.
There was no reflection.
