Synopsis: Knights of the Blue

March 1805

Dragged to London against his will by his loving but rather overbearing family, Lieutenant Lucas Blair can think of nothing but escape--whether back to the solitude of their country estate, or, even better, to sea--until he meets Emily Starwether, who seems to overlook his shortcomings to see his true character.

Word arrives at the worst possible time that Admiral Villeneuve has slipped Nelson's blockade of Toulon and sailed for the West Indies. Blair joins the company of HMS Ranelagh, 74, with several former shipmates, including the captain--Nathaniel Starwether, Emily's father.

The Ranelagh joins the fleet in pursuit of Villeneuve, an enemy they will never see until a fateful morning in October, off the coast of Spain...
