Synopsis: Emerald of Evaron

Interrupting the sacrificial ceremony is a criminal offense in the world of Evaron. When Emerald not only does this, but also absorbs the energy generated by this sacrifice she is sentenced by the Upper Level to death. Before this can happen, however, she is visited by an outcast who tells her he can help her, but the ritual will exile her from their world.

After agreeing to this proposition and going along with the newcomer, Emerald finds herself on Earth. Now in a world where she is a mere fourteen years old and unable to speak and act for herself as an adult, she ends up in the foster system after a short time living on the streets.

Emerald thinks she is safe, at first. But soon she realizes she is being followed by an official looking man in a business suit. He is a scientist who seems to know of her origins, and wants something from her that she cannot give if she is to protect her homeworld.

The question is, does she still care enough to protect the world she came from?
