Synopsis: It was the Other One

Welcome to a universe of holes, in which you constantly switch between where you are born and where another universe existed. Enter a dragon with a bad sense of humor, Emma, to whom lots of unsavory creatures are drawn, Casper, a body confused but mostly dependable hunk, Jill, who is more stubborn that any of the characters have yet reckoned with and Lars. All of them are being hunted for their power, and no one knows what will happen next.

Excerpt: It was the Other One

To be a dragon is harder than it looks. I thought as I stuck my tongue between my talons, trying to get the last piece of meat out. Humans complain about getting things stuck in their teeth, but I think dragons have it worse. A human’s teeth take up very little space, a single talon is bigger than a human’s body. All the folds of skin surrounding our five talons... It hurts my head even to think about it. I looked out of my cave and noticed one of the messenger dragons flying towards me, and he lit gently upon one of my talons, as though it would hurt me.
