Synopsis: The Gods of War Book 4: Neptune

Neptune has problems, an alien energy portal opens up in Atlantis and it may mean disaster if he can’t organise the defence of his underwater realm in time and Eris is leading the scouting party!

Excerpt: The Gods of War Book 4: Neptune

Neptune smiled warmly to the messenger. “Tell my nephew that all’s quiet down here and I’m about to start the celebrations. I don’t expect him to turn up in fact I think Eris will probably represent him, she normally does.”
“Yes Lord Neptune.” The messenger replied and was then teleported straight to the Hall of Gods.
Neptune returned his attention to the party now that the guests were starting to arrive. “Welcome.” He shook hands with them all. “It’s lovely to see you.” Sedna and her wife dashed in at speed. “Hello ladies, you’re just in time.”
“Phoebe’s totally safe back home with her boyfriend.” Eris told Neptune the good news. “She’s like ever so big now.”
“Well tell her from us that we’re all sending our best wishes.” Neptune replied jovially.
“Uncle, should we start the music?” Sedna asked.
Neptune looked at the undersea band leader and nodded to him. “I’ve asked them for my favourite.”
Eris took her wife’s hand for the first dance. “I so love this tune. Beyond the Sea is like my all time favourite song out of all the ones I’ve ever heard.”
