Synopsis: Plundering Freedom

Part I: African woman separated from brother, and both are sent on ships to be slaves in the New World. The woman calls on the spirits to save her from such a fate, and is captured/rescued by pirates. After an intense battle, she proves her worth to the pirates, and becomes one of them.

Part II: In a series of hardships and new skills, the woman begins to fall for the ship's cook, as she attempts to learn about her brother's whereabouts. Many perils are faced successfully, but the search for her brother gradually moves to the background until a shipwreck forces the now decimated crew to land.

Part III: In despair over the tragic loss, the woman refocuses on her goal to find, and save, her brother. After doing so, she realizes her true life is at sea, and returns to it.
