PS - 33 Revolutions is in El Cerrito right near the theater; it's a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from the El Cerrito Bart, right on the corner of San Pablo and Center.

Tuesday would be great for me- I know 33 Revolutions and think it would be great! does 6 to 8:30 work?

Albany's by far the closest I've found, so I'm in... if the location and time suit! Is there any chance of finding a place along Solano?
I wish El Cerrito B&N would allow unlimited use of their cafe space. Er... or maybe it's not so ideal after all.
Ummm, being that this is my maiden voyage with NaNo, and I haven't quite gotten to the part where I figured it all out--- can anyone tell what exactly goes on during a write-in? :)

Revolution is probably the most spacious place in the area. I will be there next tuesday, but I wonder about the availability of power outlets.

Could someone bring a power strip with multiple outlets that we could plug into the wall, and then we could all have a source of juice for our computers? Let me know... I think I have a spare somewhere about.

I just got the announcement for write-ins in the East Bay... Why don't we set up our own? This Tuesday @ 33revolutions, drop ins from 5 - 10 pm? How does that sound? Send me NaNoMail if you're in.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend-- There's a 10K Word War going on for the weekend. I'm going to be using that to get all caught up. The excitement over the election caused me to lose a day or two. :-)

I love it! I'll definitely be there on Tuesday evening. There are a pretty fair amount of outlets here, but a few power strips would be great, too.

I just emailed the NanoWriMo East Bay peeps and told them we were doing it, so hopefully it will go out on the next email.

WriMo here. *waves* I'll be up in Berkeley this weekend, in walking distance of San Pablo and Alameda, and was wondering if anyone is planning to meet up for a write in at 33 Revolutions or anywhere around the area on Sat., Sun., or Mon. I'd love to get to know some NaNoers up in the fabulous Bay Area and put some good writing time in at the same time.

I work best on BART, so I'm thinking about riding BART back and forth one day until my computer dies. Is that weird?

I went to my very first write-in today in Berkeley, and it was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to our write-in on Tuesday now. I will personally buy a yummy vegan truffle for the person who wins the first word war. (And I know it won't be me because I suck at word wars!)

Heh, I furtively eyeballed the patrons when I went in, but couldn't determined if anyone there was a NaNo participant. I had some suspicions. A girl two tables away had a mini notebook/netbook that was the virtual twin of mine. 'Cept hers was an Asus, mine Msi. Hmmm...

I love writing at 33 R. I'm planning on writing there most of the day tomorrow, Friday, from late morning to early evening? working on a 5 hour word war. I'm a bearded guy, probably on a couch or at a booth table, writing on my little alphasmart neo 'cessor.

Argh. Just saw this now. I could use a good, live word war. Though anyone can beat me-- I am from the school of two-finger typing. I think... I think I'll hit 33R on Monday. Tomorrow, it's gonna be the Hercules Library for me.

Or Starbuck's, because i just came from the bus stop, and am feeling to lazy to trudge all the way to the Library. Right now, at least.

I'll be at 33R Tuesday from about 5ish to 7ish. I'm a dark-headed gal, I'll be typing on a mac, and I've got a nanowrimo sticker on my laptop. I'll also likely be wearing huge headphones because I'm an avid eavesdropper and need to block that out to work. But I welcome any word war! I really want to get to 43,000 by the end of the night tomorrow because I've got a busy rest of the week planned.

I should be there. I hope. I'm still in the low 30Ks. Oh mi, oh my. Were we supposed to let someone know so they could get some sort of headcount and reserve an area? Oh... I'll be on a little MSI Wind.

I'm heading down to 33R right now and will be there for the next few hours. If anyone is wanting some post-Thanksgiving writing, I'll be down there. I'll definitely be with my big headphones, and will be in a grey & black sweater or a black hoodie.

There will be a one-last-time write-in at the Pinole Peet's Coffee from 6-9, if anyone wants to join in. I'm meandering between going and attending another event. Maybe I'll hit 50K by tomorrow morning :D
