Is anyone else writing about the Holocaust? I would love to have some "buddies" to talk about it with if at all possible. See my profile for more info about my project.

For reals. I thought about getting a PhD in Holocaust Education and then I realized I just didn't want to be depressed for five years straight. So instead I write books and plays about it. Hehe. Mind if I add you as a writing buddy? We can totally PM ideas!

I am. The History Place has a great timeline to use. There's also a long excerpt in Cezanne Is Missing about this woman who survived the Holocaust and what happened to her. It's really sad, it made me cry.

My novel includes the entire timeline of German history, so anti-Semitism, both religious and racial, is a recurring theme. I have characters who went into hiding during the war (and survived) and one who spent time at Buchenwald and Dora (and survived). There are others who did not survive.
If you need information or ideas, please feel free to PM me, or pull my email from my profile and write me there. I'll be around long after NaNo is back to sleep until next year.
