Our Berkeley write-ins (Wednesdays 7-10 at Cafe Milano) are going beautifully, and Candace and I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you throughout this month.

In fact, we've enjoyed ourselves so much that we don't want this to end! Who's for more?

With this in mind, Candace and I are planning on continuing our Wednesday write-ins semi-regularly throughout the rest of the year. We anticipate the focus of the write-ins changing a bit once November is over, since people will be less concerned with sprinting words out and (maybe) more concerned with hanging out with fellow writers, writing a bit, swapping stories...

So write-ins will continue to be held Wednesdays 7-10 at Cafe Milano EVEN AFTER November is over. Feel free to come and hang out. Non-NaNo friends are welcome as well - we anticipate creating a larger community of writers based out of Berkeley, so all writers are welcome.

See you there!

That's a wicked cool idea, and I will take as much advantage of it as possible. I've been bummed not to be able to make it to the Milano write-in yet this month, and I really super much look forward to the opportunity to remedy that in the future. You guys kick bottom.

Woohoo! I'm definitely in for this as often as I can. It's nice to have a group of writers to pow-wow with (I did a little too much pow-wow and distracted people last night, I think), and I think we are a pretty fun bunch.

I think that would be kickass, provided I can make it out. I had a blast last night!

This sounds amazing...and it may be the only way to keep me motivated to finish my story.

"The rest of the year" means "academic year", right? I don't want to stop in December!
