So, in horror in thriller casualities are not an uncommon sight. So who's the youngest person you've killed so far, and at what age?

My record is poor Kioko Harmon, who died on her 12th birthday. I nearly killed a preborn baby too, but I decided to let her live.

I haven't killed him off yet, but having an outline is a wonderful thing...I am planning to destroy an eight-year old boy who is the model innocent. The evil school-teacher-sorcerers sacrifice him. Although this isn't horror (it's fantasy), I love the horror element and incorporate it somewhat into my books. My first book was very clearly YA, and I though perhaps this one is too dark, but I said oh, what the heck...I'm writing it, deal with it.

@Richy: Poor kid! Ah well *giggles* I try to encorporate forms of horror into what I write. This is my first directly horror novel, though I've done futuristic setting ones that show a very horrific, plausable, corrupted future ^^

@Sunyata: Awe, poor infants. I am sure their loss of lives was not in vain and that it yields greatness to the plot :D

And I gave my poor 12 year old ghost girl post-traumatic stress disorder over her death now XD

Around 7-8 years old... I actually wrote the little girl to be a pain and a brat, so her death came painless, but it was nice to hear the silence that was not her voice... and my other characters were happy as well, hehe...

Two 12 year olds. Although to be fair, the 2nd of the two hasn't died yet. I'm writing it from 4 different POVs and two different timelines. In the 2nd of the two timelines, this boy's ghost has now appeared, but in the earlier of the two, he hasn't actually been killed yet. Odd!!!

The six month old baby of my Main Character. But I didn't kill the baby, the ghosts did. I'm only telling the tale.

Little girl, six years old. Eaten by an ancient beast with coal-shovel shaped teeth.

And I thought killing a teenager was bad. 0_0

The youngest person who will die in my story (hasn't happened yet, but will) is sixteen or seventeen. A junior in high school. I haven't the heart to kill small children....XD

I've killed off an 8-year-old boy, I think. He's the youngest in a family of crazy rednecks going around shooting "sickies"--people who, for some reason, have taken to trying to eat other people in the town. A large tree branch fell through the windshield of their pickup truck and impaled the kid's arm. I haven't made it explicit that he's dead yet, but I'm pretty sure he has bled to death while my main characters were doing their thing.

I also had a ghostly, undead-looking version of him appear in a nightmare my MC had. So yeah, he's going to die, if he's not dead yet.

You people are sick. Babies? Five year old children? I hate killing people for the sake of killing them. Essentially when the said person is defenceless. Although I will admit to having a twenty or so, year old maid commit suicide, and, though I didn't say it in fine print, having it hinted that I killed an entire town, kids adults, everyone (excluding babies who I sent of for some religious ritual) in the town. The youngest had the possibility of being about one year old. Maybe I am that bad... Maybe I just need to grow a back bone!

Youngest death: 1-20.

Sick AND twisted ^^

It kills me to kill my characters, but I just *have* to, to make a good story, you know.

New record, just killed an infant, stillborn though, so not really murder... and possibly buried a woman alive ^^;

Halley, the ten-year-old sister of the protagonist... although it was right at the beginning of the book and she died of leukemia, which was kind of necessary to get the plot started (sorry, Halley).

Is it worse because I didn't even write a horror and or thriller? Mine was fantasy, but I have an idea for a horror. Plus I love to scare myself. In THAT idea, I have to have killed a no older than 7 year old girl, along with her younger siblings. The youngest kid might be 4...

This time, youngest death: 3-7. Sheesh.

Not writing horror, but popped in anyway. Cuz I have a scene that could be considered horror. A bomb goes off and kills about 120 people (1/4 of the population where the MC lives), 115 of which were children. The youngest children were about five, so...I'd say I killed several five year olds...*sigh*

How about killing them all? >:) My novel is an apocalyptic horror and people of all ages die. As for people who get real death scenes, I kill off a number of teenagers and there are a couple kids who are probably 10-12 who die as well.

Hard to say who my youngest dead character is, given that I don't keep track of ages... Probably a pretty blonde twentysomething who was drugged, abducted by a serial killer and stabbed/cut repeatedly, then hung.
