I'm the type of person who needs to have a title before he can write anything, and before November's out I wanna get cracking on a sci-fi story, so I need help coming up with a title.
Basically, the story is about the first baby born in outer space. In a colossal flub-up, no one realizes that a female astronaut is pregnant until she is already on the space station. She refuses to return to Earth since it's pretty much a sure bet that re-entry would cause a miscarriage, and this puts NASA in the desperate situation of having to deliver a baby in space. The story will focus on the world's reactions to this first ever space-born human. I've already got a rough plot in my head, but i can't decide what to CALL IT.
"Space Baby" just sounds dumb, but I don't want something so opaque that no one realizes that it's about a baby who is in space. Help please?

Expectant, or Expectancy, or Expecting (Baby Name Here)

Think of the baby jingle thing that says 'Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace,' etc., and pick a day that applies to the story, and call it (Whatever)day's Child.

If your female MC is called Jessica, then how about Jess-Station? (ha ha, that's my tongue stuck in my cheek, smack me, I couldn't resist).

p.s. Cool story idea, sounds awesome.

Genesis Baby?
Genesis is the beginning. This baby would be a beginning of a new era, a true space age.

First Born?

Star Embryo?

Alpha but not Omega... hehe... Other women would pay loads of money after the first space baby was born healthy just to have their baby out in space!

Alpha in December, cause that's when she got preggie out in space. Her pregnancy would not have gone unnoticed. Maybe she was there on a 6th month tour and got preggie in space.

Space Symbiotic

Perhaps something I've said will spark you to find what you need.

Cradle of Creation? There was an aussie documentary called that in 1944 but I can't see it used anywhere else, I don't think.

Also, what else happens? What point are you trying to make?

Give us something to work with.

OMG, Zero Gravidity is probably one of the cleverest puns I've ever heard, I just may use that. Thanks!
