Did they all live happily ever after?

Did their love shine through in the end?
Or like me, did you decide that a happy ending was not in the cards for the poor lovers?

Post your wonderful endings here and lets see how many character's made it to the finale happily...
(Or just spoil your story's ending haha)

All to no Avail -
Things were never destined to work out for them, or for any other man who would come into Bec’s life. It was Cole’s everlasting curse upon his sixteen-year-old prisoner, she would never love any other man quite the same.

They made it together! Hooray! :)

--

And just ahead of him was a photo of himself and Mick. It was an old photo, when they were much younger, but they looked radiant together, almost godly. We’re two beautiful people, David thought proudly. He stood up and walked out of the studio and into the kitchen.
As David walked over to his seat in the kitchen he looked down. There was a note on his plate.

Dear David,
We’re out of milk!
I love you,
Mick

Happily ever after for mine. My novel was pretty lighthearted, so it needed a happy ending.
Lissa who is VERY happy to be done!

Sad to say, no. She forgets who he is (magic and other things are involved) and leaves to a different world (through a one person one way portal I might add) without him ever finding out what happened. So it ends with them in seperate dimension (yes, my story's also a fantasy, can you tell?) and no possibility of them ever getting together.

However the girl is completely oblivious to all of this and has no idea what happened so from her perspective her ending is happy... not much of a consolation.

My MFC was supposed to die, but she refuses to let me kill her. So I gave in, and she just goes away for a few months, then she and the MMC live happily ever after.

I'm still nowhere NEAR the end of the story (hooray! :D ) but I already know the end. They shall be running, and one of them (I still can't decide if it'll be the FMC or the MMC) gets shot. The people hunting them won't be able to find them, but it'll be plenty dramatic anyway. Nice and tragic, the whole shebang. The FMC and the MMC will get to a clearing, and then whichever one of them is shot will fall off their horse and lay on the green grass in an ever-widening pool of blood, and then they shall die in their true love's arms. . . And naturally, whichever one is left behind won't last much longer.

This is about as close to a happy ending as I think I'm ever going to get when it comes to romance. :D But that's okay, this is the way I like it. Besides, if you want to get all technical and everything it IS a happy ending, because they are forever together at last.

Well, I guess the end of my novel could change since I haven't written it properly yet, but here are the ending lines for all three main characters:

Cam’s ending: My home isn't where I've lived for the past two years or even where I grew up. My home is where my heart has resided for the past few months and hopefully the rest of my life. With Natalie.

Nat's ending: "I know that it feels like you have all of these options and that when you make a decision, you lose a whole world of possibilities. But the reality is, until you make a decision, you truly have nothing at all." I said to Cam and then I let him go one last time.

Lyd’s ending: It's all over now. Everything is done, and nothing will ever be the same again. I did what had to be done and I can't say that I'm sad about it. I needed to get my new beginning. Even if it meant hurting my best friend in irreparable ways. I'm not sorry.

I think that its probably going to be a sad ending, even though I didn't set out to write it that way, I think I'll write it so it seems like their going to get a happy ending, but then they won't. I think that's the only way to do it now!
