I wanted to thank everyone for their advice on fillers and the pad the novel when it finished at 40K.
I actually finished on Friday. I was this close to having my main character say "Blah, Blah, Blah" 100 times. (thankfully he didn't.)

Glad to see you got the advice you needed. I also had lots of helpful advice on here whilst writing and, like you, also finished on the Friday before the deadline. Thank goodness for the NaNoWriMo forums! :D
