Synopsis: Home is Where

War correspondent and all around tough girl Katherine has been called home by her sister due to their mother's death. Leaving Iraq for home in Virginia is not Katherine's idea of a good time or a good idea. The journey forces her to face her past and her future in ways she never could have prepared for.

Along the way to reacclimating herself to life stateside, Katherine finds herself coping with the life altering injuries of the marine who was more than her protector while in Iraq as well as an angry family who waited a long time for her to return home.
