Synopsis:

When a city, under siege by an unmoving clockwork army, fractures itself along religious and racial lines, what's a dwarf to do?

Excerpt:

So, people say "the Dragons" or even "The Dragons", if they feel saucy. It might sound silly, but if your world was completely surrounded by a massive ring of reptilian flesh, you'd be awed by them, too. The Dragons share a single, insanely large, unbelievably long body. And they're not happy about it, let me tell you. Can you really blame them? Imagine being the progenitor of dozens of races. You're the ruler of the planet, as far as a planet can really be controlled. The entire world knows you and fears you. You invented magic. Hell, you're packed with magic. You have magic up the wazoo. Unfortunately at the end of the wazoo is a bastard who completely disagrees with everything you stand-- err, fly for.
